Crafty 2010

The Republic of Singapore
What's the problem?
A Crafty Conference
Confirmed speakers
A Crafty Paper
Increasingly, we're noticing a wave of creators who rely more on technology than the process itself.

Within this vicious cycle, is a complete meltdown of the process in making things.

The lack of a sensible balance between craft, thinking and creativity. The effects of this - an industry that is constantly making more, instead of making better.

Crafty focuses on the process and artistry of thinking, making and crafting.
Craft returns to the forefront of creative consciousness this October.

Featuring 14 remarkable individuals, Crafty will explore the artistry and process behind disciplines from design to art, fashion to film and advertising to specialized print techniques.

Held at the Lasalle College of the Arts (Singapore), the event is produced by design think tank Anonymous and curated by art director Felix Ng - following the launch of
A Design Film Festival in January 2010.
